The Thugs by Adam Bock

"Bock starts you off giggling, but leaves you with a chill." Time Out New York

"... a delightfully paranoid little nightmare that is both more chillingly realistic and pointedly absurd than anything John Grisham ever dreamed up." New York Times

Apollinaire Theatre Company seeks 2 male actors (20s-30s)

Bart: male, 25-45, open to all ethnicities, good comic timing (Bart is outgoing, gay, often says what others are just thinking)

Joey: male, 20s-early 30s, good looking, open to all ethnicities (Daphne's boyfriend, a banker- the only non-temp in the cast)

The Thugs:
The Obie Award winning dark comedy about work, thunder, and the mysterious things that are happening on the 9th floor of a big law firm. When a group of temps try to discover the secrets that lurk in the hidden crevices of their workplace, they realize they would rather believe in gossip and rumors than face dangerous realities.

There is a stipend involved.

Performances are October 31-November 30, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 with 2 Sunday matinees at 3:00 (12 performances total), at the Chelsea Theatre Works. Rehearsals begin September 21.
The production is directed by Danielle Fauteux Jacques.
