Resident Artist Program

Apollinaire Theatre Company is thrilled to announce our 2021/22 company of Resident Artists at the Black Box Theatre at the Chelsea Theatre Works.

Residents Artists work together to share ideas, brainstorm challenges, and leverage shared resources, creating a multi-purpose arts incubation space where artists and companies can collaborate and share resources at every phase of their work.

Resident Artists receive free rental of the Black Box Theatre, rehearsal space, and shop space in the Chelsea Theatre Works.

Both companies and individual performing artists ready to self-produce their work are welcome to apply.

Artists are also asked to engage with the community of Chelsea, and there are resident spots reserved for Chelsea artists/groups.

Apollinaire Theatre is excited to be able to better serve Greater Boston's performing artists, expand Chelsea's burgeoning arts scene, and bring new opportunities to our community.

The resident artist program was founded thanks to support from the Boston Foundation's Open Door Grants program.

We are currently seeking funding for the 2022/23 season, and hope to be able to announce a call for artists soon.
